Mission: Outbreak Achievements
Outbreak
This is the basic one, all you need to do is complete the mission and kill the two infestor units which only appear at night and can be taken out by taking a bunch of Helions to the area on the minimap and manually targetting them.
28 Minutes Later
This is easily doable on Normal, Hard will be a lot more difficult. The strategy here is to mass Helions from your factories and destroy all the buildings as fast as you can. I found myself needing extra resources so what I would do is destroy the northeastern base first of the Zergs where the mineral fields are during the day and then before nightfall I’d build a command center, bunker it in, and get more minerals while playing defense at night.
There is also a mineral field in the southeast you can take over too.
Army of Darkness
Unless you’re going for this achievement or trying to kill Infestors it makes no sense to go out at night as there are hundreds of enemies per night. In 5 nights, I had killed a total of 2700 units. The best thing to do supply depot yourself in and put bunkers behind them and line them with SCV’s. When you go for the Army of Darkness achievement take a bunch of Helions with SCV’s follow them and manually target the buildings, run back to base if you get overwhelmed, rinse and repeat until you’ve killed the 15 buildings at night.
