Mission: The Dig
The Dig is very similar to most of the other maps in the Starcraft II Campaign, you build a strong defense and then carry out a relatively simple objective. This time, you can just sit tight at your base over about 20 minutes until the giant Mobius drill breaks open the Xel’Naga Temple Door. Two bunkers on each side of your base along with 2, later 3 and eventually 4 or 5 siege tanks with nearby SCVs to repair damage will get you through the 20 minutes.

The Dig: Complete all objectives in The Dig.
The only objective that might be slightly difficult is collecting the relics. All you need to do is take out the temples with the drill and then send an SCV or a Viking to collect the relic.
Drill Hard: Kill 20 enemy units with the Laser Drill on Normal difficulty.
All you have to do here is kill 20 enemies with the laser drill, you’ll be doing this anyways so the achievement is a freebie.
To accomplish this Mission, I recommend building a fleet of Vikings. You could try to take out a Protoss base with a ground force, but you can do it much easier and quickly with a Viking squad capable of seeing Protoss buildings but not being in range of their cannons. Fly over the western edge of their base just close enough that you can target the buildings but try to stay somewhere safe. You might get in a few skirmishes so bring plenty of Vikings. Use the drill to take out one building at a time. If you want to, you can wait until a Probe starts constructing the building again and keep taking it out.
