Mission: The Outlaws Achievements
Basically continuing to play on Hard which doesn’t seem hard at all so far, but that’s expected since it’s just the beginning. There are 3 more achievements that come on The Outlaws Mission.
The Outlaws
This is your basic achievement for completing all the quest objectives of the mission.
Cash Reward
You complete cash reward by collecting all of the minerals and gas deposit bonuses throughout the map. Watch especially for ones you may miss in the Rebel base, and just north of your starting base there are some bonus deposits that are guarded by 3 enemies. Getting all of the bonuses in the Rebel base and the ones just north of your base that are guarded will allow you to get this achievement.
Be Quick or Be Dead
This one requires you to play on hard difficulty and finish the entire mission in under 10 minutes. Immediately what I do is chain build SCV’s to get my economy in and capture the Rebel base as soon as possible. You won’t be able to do it with just your starting marines, but if you can pump 4 more or so out of your barracks quickly (I’ll build as many as 4 barracks’s as soon as the SCV can keep up with it) you can basically patrol click your units into victory into the Rebel base.
Once you grab the rebel base you’ll gain access to another barracks and some supply depots. The barracks in the rebel base has a tech lab attached to it. Chain build medics out of this.
Take the newly acquired rebel forces and all the units you are pumping out of your barracks at home and send them at the enemy base to start penetrating. Keep massing units as fast as possible and pumping out medics. If you suffered substantial losses at the rebel base for whatever reason, wait till you have probably about 8 marines before you send them north as you’ll run into some more advanced enemy units. The key is to start penetrating early and send reinforcements nonstop and you’ll do it in under 10 minutes easily.
