Covert Ops Challenge – Gold Achievement
In this Challenge, you receive a group of Ghosts and a group of Ravens. You are instructed to slaughter as many Zerg as possible with your given resources in 3 minutes and 30 seconds. If you kill 125 you will receive the Bronze achievement, 150 for Silver and 175 for Gold.
To earn the Gold achievement you should send a ghost to the left and to the right, each one of them can nuke a large target without any assistance. Send a ghost up the middle to take out the Spore Crawlers which will otherwise detect cloaked ghosts. Once the Spore Crawlers are destroyed you can nuke the group of units int he center of the map. After that, move your Ravens and Ghosts (cloaked) up and to the left to take out buildings, Overseers, Mutalisks and everything else you can overcome. You can use a few Raven turrets but save most of your Raven energy for a bit later.
After clearing out the upper left, send your Ravens and Ghosts up to the top of the map where they can nuke the top right. There is a single Overseer in your way, you can distract the rest of the units with turrets and sniper the Over. Once you’re in range send out a few nukes and you should get 180-210 kills.
