Rush Defense Challenge – Gold Achievement
In this Challenge you are setup with a Command Center, a Supply Depot and a few SCVs and given about a minute to prepare yourself for a Zergling rush, that’s round 1. In round 2, you’ll be given a similar challenge, but the second time Protoss Zealots will rush in.
In both rounds, build a Barracks first, do this before you even think about doing anything else. As your barracks completes, immediately build a Bunker and queue up your first Marine. The Marine will be ready before the Bunker is, so you’ll have to make sure he doesn’t get killed by the rushing Zerglings or the rushing Zealots. As you can see in the video, I used a combination of SCV distraction and Marine circling to keep as much alive as I could. Put the Marine in the bunker, keep it repaired, and you’ll be able to protect yourself from the rest of the attacks.
